Borealis

We are visiting Borealis Beringen: learn more about their polypropylene plants (PP1 & PP2), get an introduction about their recycling porject (rPO) and enjoy a guided tour through one of their plants. This visit is free, but registering is mandatory since the places are limited and Borealis neer your clothing size to provide the necessary safety clothes.
Borealis is one of the world’s largest suppliers of advanced and sustainable solutions in the field of polyolefins. In Europe, Borealis is also a leading company in polyolefin recycling and an important producer of basic chemicals.
The main application areas of their products are advanced packaging, hygienic and electronic applications, as well as applications in the automotive sector.
PS: General tip for SEVESO site visits, wear closed shoes and long sleeves/pants.
