Chemix goes international
About the event
Chemix Goes International was an exciting event where participants went abroad to visit two of the most prominent chemical companies in Europe. The event started with a visit to Evonik in Marl, Germany, where the participants had the opportunity to learn about the company’s specialty chemicals, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge technologies.
After the visit, the group spent the night in Düsseldorf and enjoyed a delicious dinner, creating a great opportunity for networking and bonding. The following day, the group visited Sabic in Geleen, the Netherlands, where they gained insights into the company’s global operations, research and development activities, and sustainability initiatives.
Overall, the Chemix Goes International event offered an excellent opportunity for the participants to expand their knowledge and gain practical experience in the chemical industry. It also provided a platform for networking with industry professionals and fellow students interested in chemical sciences.
