Chemical Case Competition
About the event
Are you a chemical engineering student eager to tackle a real challenge in the chemical industry with a group of 3 to 4 students?
Look no further! The Chemical Case Competition, organized by Chemix in collaboration with INEOS on Monday, March 4th, is just the opportunity you’ve been waiting for! The event will take place in the Thermotechnisch Instituut, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
During this event, one case will be assigned to the 3rd-year bachelor students and 1st-year master students, while another case will be tailored for 2nd-year master students. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to receive guidance from experienced chemical engineers from INEOS.
Additionally, breakfast, lunch, snacks, and a reception will be provided throughout the day where you can network with others and discuss your solutions.
The winning group of each case will receive prize money, as well as a signed certificate by INEOS & KU Leuven. Additionally, everyone also has the chance to win extra goodies and prizes.
Concerned about missing your second-year master seminar between 2 PM and 3 PM? Fear not! We’ve taken that into account so you can fully engage in the Chemical Case Competition without missing any mandatory sessions.

Timeline of the event
